Team Ministry visit to Peasgood and Skeates

Peasgood and Skeates Funeral Manager, Lee Wilkins and his team recently welcomed ministers and administrative staff from Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry to give them an insight into their profession.  The team were shown around their funeral home on Shire Hill and invited to ask questions regarding funerals and care of the deceased.  Following the tour, the group had a very helpful discussion about the rise of the number of requests for Direct Cremation and also Civil and Humanist Funeral Ceremonies.  This was a great opportunity for our teams to engage with each other as we work closely together in arranging funerals for local people who have died  - whether or not they have been regular churchgoers.
