Appointment of the Reverend Ella Harris  

Announcement on Sunday, 16th March 2025

We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Reverend Ella Harris as the new Team Vicar in the Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry, with responsibility for the Cam Village Churches of Wendens Ambo, Littlebury, Littlebury Green and Great and Little Chesterford.  

This follows a rigorous process and interview by a panel which included representatives from all five Cam Village Churches. 

Many of you will know Ella already in her capacity as curate for the Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry. Ella is now looking forward to stepping further into her ministry in the Cam Villages, and to meeting many more of you. She and Toby will be moving to the Vicarage in Great Chesterford shortly before Ella’s licensing, which is yet to be confirmed, but will not be before June. 

With 5 churches and a Church of England Primary school amongst her new responsibilities, Ella will need all our support as well as the help of the Ministry Team. Please welcome Ella and her husband Toby as she enthusiastically assumes this new and important role.
